Rajesh Payal Rai contributed Rs 10,000 to a heart patient and invited her to the launching ceremony of his most awaited album ‘Darshan Namaste’ at Grande Ballroom, Everest Hotel on Friday. Heart patient Jamu Sherpa pulled down the pulleys of the closed curtain to introduce the album whereas Amber Gurung concluded the official launch of the album. For the first time, all the songs are made available in iTunes so that people worldwide can buy from the iTunes online store. 

Rajesh informed, ‘A taxi driver shared his sore story of misery of his daughter ‘Jamu Sherpa’. She had to go series of blood transfusion for a hopeful life as she is suffering from acute ITP (Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura). So, I offered him a little help hoping for her health betterment.’ 

A huge crowd of well known celebrities adored his involvement and at the same time, they measured his singing aptitude after Rajesh Payal Rai performed three songs from the album viz, ‘Timro mero katha mildaina kasai sita’, ‘Tuwalo’ amd ‘Darshan Namaste’. Rajesh Payal Rai said, ‘I wanted to feel the feedback from the audience about differences in me after quitting the addiction of alcohol and smoking.’ A music video of the song ‘Kina chodeu bato bichama’ was also launched casting Binod Manandhar, Srijana Basnet and he himself. 

The program went fine except a failure on their plan of webcasting the event live through his personal website ‘www.rajeshpayalrai.com’ due to slow Internet connectivity.
