Cuddling the trophy... Sound Cuddles on Top!!

It was a neck to neck competition as three Bands battled it out for the title of "Sprite Band challenge 2". Sound Cuddles, Baptizma and Inflected all gave their best to woo the panel of judges.

It was a treat to see "inflected" perform; we tell you something about chicks who rock. Their act was followed by Baptizma who looked very dapper in their coordinated black suit. It was killer! Rock gods would have been proud of our Nepali crop. We do agree with Robin Tamang, all of them contestants are winners in their own right... But there can only be one winner, and they happen to be "Sound cuddles" the boys roared their way into the hearts of all the judges, who gave them a generous score of 9 with Abhaya adding her extra bit in the form of plus 0.5 (a total of 9.5). That gave Sound Cuddles a whopping score of 27.5 out of 30 – from the panel of three judges Dev Rana, Ronin Tamang and Abhaya Subba.

Ahem! The lady luck surely must have been on the side of them rockers from Boudha; they took home the first prize of Rs. 1 lakh, a chance to cut a music video... and above all the title of "Sprite Band challenge 2".

The bands were judged on the basis of SMS votes and live performance; Batizma was the first runner-up and won Rs. 50,000, while second runner-up Inflected won Rs. 30,000.
